I'm usually not a huge fan of memoirs, only because, I mean...how interesting can a person be to want to read about them? How extraordinary is your life that it deserves to be written about? Why does your life deserve to be published in a book? Here are my top three, 5-star rated, nonfiction books of 2018, in no particular order:
Read MoreI’ve always enjoyed mystery novels and all the suspense and crime-solving that came with it. In recent years, Young Adult mysteries have gained popularity and I’ve quickly jumped on that bandwagon and can’t seem to get enough. 2018 was a great year for YA mysteries! Read MoreIf you’ve been following my adventures on Instagram, you probably know that I recently spent four days in beautiful London town. During my short trip, I had two lists on my phone: the first was of food places I wanted to try and the second was a list of books I wanted to get.
Read MoreThis is one of the most disappointing reads so far. There are many factors that I had an issue with while reading this book. Mainly to do with the protagonist, Julia.

Read MoreLong Way Down takes place in a span of one minute. Sixty seconds. In a single minute, the book outlines the life of this young man, Will, the day after his brother, Shawn, was found shot dead. There is no fitting way that I can think of to describe a book of this caliber. It pushes boundaries, questions your thoughts and beliefs and does not shy away from treading on important topics, such as race and gun violence.

It's so easy to rant and rave when you don't like a book. But what do you do when you love it? There's no amount of gushing and praising that I can do here, because it's not that kind of book. This book speaks for itself, and the story tells itself.
Read MoreFirst, I have a confession to make. This is my first ever Agatha Christie novel. Ever. I have actually never read a book of hers before. Shocking and disgraceful I'm sure, but I am making up for it now.
