JELL-O ORANGE WEDGES
Looking for the ultimate party snack this summer? These jell-o orange wedges are easy to make, delicious and super fun! Make ahead and serve at any occasion!
INGREDIENTS
Oranges
Boxed Jell-o or Gelatin in as many colors as you can find (lemon, orange, strawberry, lime and blueberry)
PREPARATION
1. Cut each orange in half and either scoop out the orange using a spoon, or squeeze the juice out and then scoop out any leftover orange, leaving only the cup of rind.
2. Place all the empty cups in muffin tins, so they don’t wobble when filled. Set aside.
3. In the meantime, follow package instructions to prepare the different flavors of jell-o.
4. Fill each orange cup with a different flavor of jell-o. When all the cups are filled, refrigerate the muffin tins for at least 4 hours or overnight until set.
5. If you have any leftover jell-o mix, you can pour into bowls and refrigerate as well.
6. Once set, remove each orange cup and using a sharp knife, slice into 3 wedges. This is a bit tricky, so find the best method for you. You could flip the cup upside down and slice through the peel, or keep it upright and slice through the jell-o.
7. Once sliced, keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
Notes:
You can try using different fruits to make these fun shots.
Don’t over fill the cups, place in refrigerator first and then top up, if needed.
Use as many oranges as you want depending on the quantity you’re making.
